1st Winner in Play65 Italy Tournament!
Michael Schmidt of Germany is the first winner in Play65 Italy tournament, which means that on November 29 he will be on the plane to Venice on his way to take part in the 19th City of Venice International Backgammon Tournament.
Michael Schmidt, a 45 years old wholesaler of Germany is the winner of the first Play65 Italy tournament, which took place on Saturday night. A big fan of backgammon and a close friend of the 2006 World Championship Andreas Humke, Schmidt gets the chance to compete against top backgammon players in the world.
Mr. Schmidt won’t be the only Play65 online backgammon player to participate in one of the most prestigious backgammon tournaments in Europe (if not worldwide). It might even be you, if you’ll outplay the other contestants in the upcoming Italy tournaments, due to October 27, November 3 and November 10.
